"Yes, I swim with them. They are all members of the swim club. We have competed in relays." He was rather close to his friends. He used to always just stay home but they had helped him come out of his shell somewhat. He always had fun with them anyway.
"My house?" Haru questioned. Why was he so focused on coming to my home? Is it really a good idea to bring someone you barely know home with you? Not really. "There are plenty of other things to do….Why my house? I barely know you. Let’s do something else or end this day now?"
Was this guy satisfied with the amount of time they had spend together? Haru guessed not. He liked him kind of but he wasn’t close to him, not by a long shot.
Rin was a bit surprised when Haru refused. He had thought that the dolphin would fall in his arms soon and maybe he could taste his neck. But Haruka was a difficult dam. The shark smiled trying to hide that shock and just thought in other way to catch him. Maybe he needed more time…
-It´s ok, I understand your point.- he said. He didn´t want to scare Haru.- But I still want a coffee. Let´s move somewhere else.- he moved closer Haru, smiling at him seductively- You don´t know very things about me, but I want to show you some of them…
Haruka was relieved that the shark didn’t pressure him anymore for now by insisting on going to his home. He’d only met him the night before anyway. “Thank you.” He replied politely.
Coffee? That sounded fine to the dolphin. How much longer till it started getting dark though. He glanced around for a clock without luck. The new guy invaded his space somewhat as he did. Haru glanced over at him, noticing his smile. It was an attractive one, which distracted him to some extent. Dare he ask what the guy meant by his words. That tone he used was…..sexy? It made the dolphin shiver mentally.
Haru composed himself before replying. What happened just now? “Coffee is fine. I know a place.” He stood up indicating they could leave now.
Rin smiled at himself and stood up, following Haruka. He knew Haru had just felt something, although maybe he hadn´t realized what it was.
- You know some nice places here. Do you usually go out? Or is it just a small town?- but the truth was that Rin had a little idea about where they were going now. He lied when he said not knowing the town. And there was a little coffee near Samezuka, Rin´s old school. Rin used to go there many years ago, when he was human and child. And he went there the same day he came back to the town.
"I don’t go out much but when I do, its with the other swim club members.’ He replied. "I would say its in between, not a small town but not a big city either."
Haru led the way to the small coffee shop. As they walked, he didn’t think about much for now. He just noticed that it was starting to get darker out. He wasn’t keen on staying out much longer with this guy. Even if he was attractive, he seemed different than other people. Maybe that was why Haru was alarmed by him. He was just plain confused when it came to the new guy.
They arrived eventually, Haru pointed it out to the shark. “Its just over here.” He liked it because it was a small place, not a lot of people and the staff was friendly.
